Do the glue guns heat up quickly?
The heating period may vary from 5 to 7 minutes. A new glue gun must be loaded with hot melt glue sticks before switching on. Press lightly on the trigger as it is heating up and the glue stick will gradually push up into the gun.
Do the glue guns overheat?
No, they do not overheat. However, we do recommend that you turn it off and unplug it if you are not going to use it over the following 40 minutes.
Can the hot-melt be used on fabric?
Yes, in fact, it has one of the broadest uses: fabric, sequins, tassels, pompoms and ribbon. If you are using special fabrics (muslin or silk), it’s definitely best to use a low temperature adhesive. (MAX and mini TRANSLUCENT; MAX TRANSPARENT)
Can it be used on printed circuit boards in electronics?
Yes, but it does have some limitations when it comes to glueing and potting work. Always check that the temperature of the adhesive is not too high and does not end up damaging the base material. (MAX and mini TRANSLUCENT; MAX TRANSPARENT)
Are Salki glues toxic?
No, none of the compositions of Salki hot-melt glues are toxic.
